• Device and Technical Information: Operating system version, device model, app version, network status, and error/crash diagnostic logs to ensure application stability and security.
• User-Generated Uploads: Files, documents, and images you explicitly upload to submit assignments or update your profile.

2. Device Permissions and Usage

JaipuriaLIVE may request the following device permissions only when necessary for specific features:

Camera	Used solely to capture photos for your profile avatar or to attach photo evidence/documents to your academic assignment submissions.
Photo Library / Storage	Used to select existing documents or images from your device for academic tasks, or to save downloaded course materials and offline study files.
Push Notifications	Used to deliver timely academic notices, reminders about assignment deadlines, exam alerts, and campus announcements. You may disable notifications at any time in device settings.
Cross-Site Tracking / Cookies	Required by the iOS web engine to preserve your authenticated session and accurately render embedded educational content from the institution's LMS servers.

3. How We Use Your Information

All data processed by JaipuriaLIVE is used exclusively for legitimate educational and institutional purposes:

• Authenticating your access to institutional course portals and academic records.
• Facilitating teaching, assignment submissions, grading, and coursework interaction.
• Managing student attendance, leaves, and academic notifications.
• Troubleshooting technical issues, bugs, and improving app performance.

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

Your information is only shared under the following conditions:

• Institutional Access: Authorized faculty and academic administrators of Jaipuria Institute of Management have access to your coursework, grades, and attendance.
• Service Providers: Infrastructure and push notification providers (e.g., Apple Push Notification Service, Firebase Cloud Messaging) strictly for app operation and delivery of notifications.
• Legal Compliance: When required by applicable laws, regulations, or court orders.

All communication between the JaipuriaLIVE app and institutional servers is encrypted using industry-standard Transport Layer Security (TLS/HTTPS). We employ strict security measures to protect your academic records from unauthorized access or alteration.

Your academic records are retained in accordance with the data retention policies of Jaipuria Institute of Management for educational institutions.

6. Account Deletion and Data Rights

In accordance with Apple App Store policies and applicable privacy laws, users have rights regarding their data:

• Viewing & Updating: You can view and update your profile details directly within the app or through your campus registrar/IT portal.
• Account Deletion: Because JaipuriaLIVE accounts are institutionally provisioned, if you graduate, withdraw, or wish to request the deletion or archival of your account credentials and personal data, you may contact the IT Administrator at the contact details below.
